The course is led, directed and designed by trainers with extensive experience in the use of mindfulness techniques within high pressure roles across a variety of industries. Although the basic principles of mindfulness originate in the Buddhist, Zen and Tibetan meditation techniques, the benefits of mindfulness and meditation are supplemented by an increasing body of academic research. The course allows candidates to discover some of the origins of the method but rapidly embarks into the practical application of mindfulness. Using practical meditation techniques, candidates will be encouraged to consider their thoughts and the effect of their feelings.
